Privacy policy

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Fauxhaul ("we", "us") runs an early-access waitlist for a simulated shopping app. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website and what we do with it.

What we collect

Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
Where you came from: if you arrived from an ad or a link, we record the campaign and ad identifiers in the link (for example, a TikTok click ID) alongside your email, so we can tell which ads are working.
Basic technical data that any website receives, such as your browser type, device type, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Our hosting provider and analytics tools handle this.

How we use it

To email you when Fauxhaul is ready and, if you choose, occasional updates about it.
To measure whether our advertising is working.
To understand how many people are interested and where they heard about us.

We do not sell your email address. We do not share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Services we use

Formspree receives and stores waitlist signups on our behalf.
TikTok provides advertising measurement. When the TikTok pixel is enabled on this site, TikTok may receive information about your visit and your signup, subject to TikTok's own privacy policy. You can manage ad settings in your TikTok account.
Our website host serves this page and keeps standard server logs.

Cookies and tracking

This site itself does not set cookies. The TikTok pixel, when enabled, may set cookies for ad measurement. You can block these in your browser settings.

This site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals. When the TikTok pixel is enabled, TikTok may collect information about your activity on this site and on other websites over time.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email we send using the link in the email, or by contacting us.
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your email address and any associated signup data at any time.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
